I’ve brought a couple of new skincare items and beauty products the last couple of weeks that I’ve been absolutely been loving. So of the products I’ve been using for over two months and some I’ve just started using at the end of November.
When I was packing for Las Vegas (Check out my post about what I packed for my trip here), I knew I needed to bring some sort of hair oil for my locks. So I found this Hollywood Beauty Olive Oil at Walmart. It was the perfect size for my carry-on and definitely needed after our day in the pool. It really helps since my hair loses oil or sebum, and can become very dry. I typically use this right before I flat iron my hair and maybe online once or twice a week. I try to keep most of it toward the ends as they get dry the most.
Along the Olive Oil, I’ve been giving my hair about twice a month, an oil treatment to help my hair growth. I’ve tried some other products, but I’m loving Okay Pure Naturals Black Jamaican Castor Oil with Coconut Oil. It has a nice fragrance and easy to apply. Just rub it at the roots and into your scape. Right after washing, my hair is soft and silky. Another hair product that I’ve been using is the Frizz Ease Secret Weapon. Very nice for fly-aways.
The only skincare that’s new and I’ve loving right now is the Andalou Illuminating Toner. I think what I like the most that it’s a spray and I don’t have to pour it on a cotton pad. Much easier to spray it on and let it settle itself into my skin.
My three favorite beauty products are all under $10 each. And one, the store I brought it from no longer carries it, so what am I going to do?!! LaLaFox cushion foundation is one of the best cushion foundation they have over here in the US that I was able to get at my local Walmart. But I’ve got to make this one last until I go down to the international district.
Then I’ve been loving the Too Faced Bronzer I found at Burlington Coat Factory. It’s so random, but if you check places like Burlington or TJ Maxx you can find high-end beauty. I’ve even seen some of Kat Von D’s makeup palettes.
Speaking of makeup palettes, I found this Profusion Glamour Bar. It’s been my go-to makeup since I got it. It has both matte and shimmer shades. And I really love the blush. It’s just the right hint of color on my cheeks that I need.
So what are you guys all favoring this winter? Anything good and affordable? Anyone know of a good place to get a foundation cushion for darker skin?
